Hands on Assists for Teachers & Practitioners with Craig Norris 

Indaba yoga Sat 9 Nov - 13:30-16:30

In this 3 hour workshop we will dive into getting hands on. Practical adjusts and assists will be explored from the perspective of a Forrest Yoga practice. The workshop will be open to those already trained in any style of yoga as well as those that already have an existing practice but may not be teaching yet. You will gain confidence in being able to give safe and compassionate assists as well as receiving assists that will help to deepen your own practice. There will also be time to ask questions and receive feedback on your assets.

Craig has dedicated his life to studying various forms of yoga, meditation and chanting, including Ashtanga, Baptise, Satyananda, and Forrest styles. He has further deepened his practice and teaching with studies in meditation and chanting as well as in yoga therapy with Yoga Campus and the Yoga Biomedical Trust. He has great love for the traditional in yoga and continues to study Sanskrit and Vedic chanting.

He has trained many teachers and assistants, teaching all aspects of yoga practice, philosophy and anatomy. On other schools trainings and also his own Yoga teacher training course, Assisting trainings and mentorships.
